The NJTTC offers playing opportunities for all interested in the sport regardless of their ability level. Our members abilities range from early beginners to that of our two Olympic competitors. The Asbury Park Press referred to the NJTTC as "a Mecca of the sport for many of the nations top players. " If you are a beginner, or if you played in the past and want to start again, you can find a place in one of the leagues described below. Open play is available at all times except during regularly scheduled USA TT sanctioned tournaments.

Participation in organized activity is available to our members within the three evening leagues which meet once a week on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. There are some requirements for each league.

Monday: Requires a desire to play and accommodates beginners to any skill level. The format is an individual laddertype play where those present that evening are divided into small groups for a round robin. Capacity is approximately 35 players.

Tuesday: Requires very moderate skill level and ranges to a higher skill level. Three player team format is used. A regular attendance is highly desirable. Capacity is 39 players.

Thursday: Requires a skill level of 1600 (or equivalent) under the USATT system. The format is two or three player teams. A regular attendance is highly desirable. Capacity is 39 players.
